What this tool does — and doesn't do
This tool compares quotes you already have, side by side. It does not send requests for quotes, invite suppliers, collect quotes on your behalf, or extract data from emailed PDFs — you upload the files, and the comparison runs entirely in your browser.

How many supplier quotes can I compare?
This free tool compares the same number of suppliers an anonymous CostRift visitor already gets on the full product — no artificial cap below that. Signed-in CostRift plans raise that limit further.
How are items matched across suppliers?
By normalized item code — the same deterministic identity rule CostRift's Supplier Comparison engine always uses. There is no fuzzy or description-based matching, so item codes must line up across each supplier's file.
What does a unit or currency mismatch mean?
If two suppliers quote the same item code in different units of measure or currencies, comparing the raw price would be misleading, so this tool flags it instead of guessing a conversion.
